Flipped VET – 2nd online meeting

Digitalising VET: The Flipped Work-Based Learning (Flipped VET)
Project number: 2021-1-LV01-KA220-VET-000025117

We start to catch a glimpse of this new interesting Erasmus+ project. Today, 27th January 2022 the project teams have met and put a brick to the project’s walls coordinated by Latvia’s biggest computer training center in Baltic countries, Baltic Computer Academy.

After a report about project implementation, we started to discuss about the development of the first result – The Flipped Work-Based Learning Curriculum: Digitalization of the Work-Based Learning. Everyone has understood well their tasks and deadlines. There were discussions about the next meeting in Latvia in February 2022 and the coordinator presented the overall pandemic situation in Latvia. The overall situation is quite concerning due to the rapid spread of the Omicron virus in full 5th wave of this pandemic. Every partner will weight well his/her decision regarding face-to-face meeting participation in Riga during 14-15 February 2022.

First online meeting for SOLARIS European project

The Covid pandemic still has strong effects on European mobility. The first meeting of this project should have brought together all the partners in Prague. Instead, we organized an online meeting to start the SOLARIS project, an innovative project that continues the work done in a previous project, Age Management Masterclass. The Solaris project deals with the same very current topic – that of the general aging of the population at European level and, consequently, of the aging of the workforce – but is addressed especially for educational sector. The agenda of the today’s event included an introduction to the main results achieved in the previous AMM project and then a detailed debate on presentation of SOLARIS project, focusing on interconnected Results (previously Intellectual outputs), the Timeline of the project, the Distribution of main activities and tasks. You can find the detailed Agenda here.

The pandemic is not over but the TSEMY project continues successfully!

Yesterday, the partners met in a brief online meeting to discuss the common strategy for the next period. Although we had planned a plenary meeting in Prague, due to the uncertain conditions generated by the Omicron variant of the virus and the ever-increasing evolution of illness cases, the unanimous decision was to organize the meeting online and postpone a direct meeting until the conditions are more favourable. Despite the distance and the lack of direct contact, partners found solutions and created a continuous flow of communication, so that the joint effort could lead to the expected results within the project.

Stay tuned for next news about first results of TSEMY partnership project!
